An international high-performance camp designed to bring young players closer to the reality of today’s professional basketball

Ages

Players born between 2009 and 2014 (both years included).
Locations & Training Facilities

Training sessions will take place at different facilities across the city of Vitoria-Gasteiz, including Buesa Arena and BAKH.

Meals and accommodation will be provided at the new “Ondare” residence, which will also be used for rest and social activities during free time.

MUCH MORE THAN A BASKETBALL CAMP

The Baskonia International Camp was created to deliver a top-level training experience inspired by the real daily routine of a professional basketball player.

In a demanding, well-structured and motivating environment, participants develop not only technical and physical skills, but also tactical, mental and emotional aspects of the game, connecting every training session with real competitive situations.

Professional and Specialized Staff

The Baskonia International Camp features a highly qualified technical staff focused on the individual development of each player.

In addition to the Camp Directors, the CIBB includes operations coordinators, certified coaches, assistant coaches, physiotherapists and court supervisors.

Covering not only physical and technical aspects, but also tactical, mental and emotional ones.

Through a personalized approach adapted to each player’s individual characteristics.

Fast pace, role changes, spacing management, three-point shooting, disruptive defense…

Teaching players to read and adapt to different situations and roles, as required by today’s game.

Using their technical skills, attitudes and processes as sources of inspiration.

Allowing coaches and players to review performance and identify patterns of development.

METHODOLOGY

What we seek at the camp is a direct connection between what we train and how we want to play, with the goal of developing smart and intelligent players.

To achieve this, our training sessions are designed to include:

Real game situations with different technical and tactical challenges
Develop skills that are transferable to real game situations
Encourage tactical thinking using individual technique as the main tool
Identify each player’s strengths in order to further develop them
Identify each player’s weaknesses in order to improve them
Place strong emphasis on training pace and execution
